Our DNA

Like biological DNA, a community's social DNA is the code it grows from. This page sets out ours: what you are joining, and what we expect of you.

01 · Why we exist

Purpose

Liminal Village exists to prototype a regenerative civilization, weaving together community living, healing practices and open-source technologies, and sharing everything we learn.
Extraction → Regeneration
Isolation → Belonging
Scarcity → Shared abundance
The problem

Extractive systems leave us disconnected

Our answer

A real-world lab you can live in

Vision

A network of regenerative communities

with ReGenerativa, ReFactory & Casa Selva

Mission

Upgrade the operating system of society

02 · What we explore

The thresholds we live on

Liminal, from the Latin limen: threshold. We don't pick a side of old divides; we work in the space between, where new things grow.

“The space where we are betwixt and between the familiar and the completely unknown. There alone is our old world left behind, while we are not yet sure of the new existence. That's a good space where genuine newness can begin.” — Richard Rohr
